SEO Expert Helps Bring Robot Idea to Life

TAMPA, FLORIDA — We here at Master Google love innovation and technology, even if it’s outside the realm of SEO optimization service. That’s why we contributed recently to a student robotics project at the University of Colorado, Boulder.

The college students are making a robot butler as their Capstone project.

“I admire their ability to dream big,” says Ali Husayni, founder of Master Google and the affordable SEO services company’s top SEO services expert. “I’m also proud of my brother, Mahdi Zadeh, who is part of this group of college students.”

Zadeh and his classmates plan to build a robot from scratch that has unique abilities.

“This robot will carry beverages and plates on its back and will be sitting in a room ready for service,” Zadeh says, adding the robot will be called by a microphone through a voice activation system and will take orders such as “drink,” “food,” etc. Another possibility is that it will work with a number of claps.

For example, if you clap once, it will bring a beverage. If you clap twice, it will bring food.

“This robot is going to have the ability to find you wherever you are,” Zadeh says.

Locating people will be made possible through two GPS units. Thanks to a radar system (or bumper system) it will be equipped to dodge any walls or other obstacles that stand between you and the robot as it makes its way toward you.

Although Husayni says he looks forward to seeing the finished product, he’s also happy to have been able to contribute to an interesting cause.

“I believe that part of being a good business person means giving back to the community when you can,” said the Internet SEO specialist. “This is a hardworking group of students who are going to go on to do great things after they graduate. If this project helps advance those efforts, I’m proud to be part of it.”

SEO Expert Has Article Published in “reSource”

TAMPA, FLORIDA — Google search optimization expert Ali Husayni recently had an article published in the popular orthodontics publication- Bentson, Clark and Copple’s “reSource.”

It is a quarterly publication.

Husayni’s article gives helpful tips on how- with the proper approach to SEO- first page Google results are at orthodontists’ fingertips. The article is titled, “Beat Your Competition on Google Organic Search Without Hiring an SEO Firm.”

“We’ve had an incredible amount of success over the years with our orthodontist and dentist clients, in terms of getting their websites to appear on the first page of search results for their most important keywords,” says Husayni, an SEO services and website ranking expert. “There are plenty of steps practices can take on their own to improve their search rankings, and this article shares 10 of the most important steps.”

Some of the tips Husayni gives include recommending that practices list their sites on Google Places, and having their webmaster build a blog under their site’s domain name.

“Particularly with Google SEO, blog updates done frequently are a key factor in improving organic search results,” Husayni says.

Other recommendations made to orthodontists were to write articles and press releases about their practices and post them on their blogs and on relevant distribution sites. Husayni also recommends that practices add their sites to the Yahoo! Directory.

Orthodontists who belong to professional organizations can request that those organizations place a link to the orthodontist’s site from their site. He listed civic organizations and non-profits as examples.

Husayni embarked on an article writing campaign earlier this year to share important SEO information with orthodontic and dental professionals. He recently has had articles published in “The McGill Advisory” and “The Progressive Orthodontist,” in addition to “reSource.” He also has an article slated for publication in an upcoming issue of Orthotown magazine.

“I would like to parlay this into some speaking engagements at future seminars and conferences,” Husayni says. “SEO is important, and I enjoy helping dental and orthodontic practices increase their revenue by enabling more patients find them easily online. I want a platform to share this information with more of these professionals.”

SEO Expert Sets the Record Straight Concerning Google and SEO

ORANGE, CA-There’s a lot of information swirling around on the Internet about search engine optimization. It becomes hard to distinguish who’s right and who’s just plain missing the mark.

Owner and founder of Master Google, Ali Husayni, is setting the record straight about at least one source of information.

On October 31, Jason Hiner—TechRepublic’s Editor-in-Chief—wrote an article about Google’s newest algorithm update, named Panda. He cited SEO as one of the main reasons for which Google revamped its page ranking system. Hiner claimed that SEO merely helps Web sites get ranked as high as possible on Google search results, regardless of relevancy to the searcher’s query.

“As a result, the sites that land at the top of Google search results have become more about which sites are best optimized rather than the ones that have the best and most relevant content,” Hiner wrote.

Husayni refuted the ungrounded assumption, saying that he’s simply confusing SEO with black hat SEO.

Black hat SEO breaks search engine rules and regulations. It is unethical. According to Husayni, the difference between black hat SEO techniques and Master Google’s SEO efforts is clear: Master Google has morals.

“Optimization, fresh content and encouraging other sites or people to recommend our clients’ Web sites are all valid business practices,” Husayni said. “They are even approved by Google.”

“Google needs SEO companies to better understand sites,” he added. “In essence, we are enhancing the ability of Google crawlers to index and understand sites.”

Hiner also stated that social media platforms were threatening Google’s relevance, forcing the search engine to launch Google+. “Social media has been replacing traditional web search for many different kinds of information gathering…” he said.

But Husayni said, “It cannot.”

“Social media is what it is and it will certainly help your search results, based on what your friends or circles suggest,” he said. “But it cannot and will not replace Google as a search engine.”

Husayni said that there are several reasons Google has nothing to fear, one being that a social media platform cannot index every site or page. It’s also susceptible to spam, just like other search engines, he added.

However, Google did need to add Google+ to compete with rivals, like Facebook and Twitter, Husayni asserted.

“It was essential for Google to start generating money through ads placed on social media sites, especially after the enormous amount gained by Facebook and Twitter this way,” Husayni said. “They also sought to customize their search results based on social connections. In theory, this will return much more relevant results.”

Hiner went on to say that Google’s Panda update caused “collateral damage,” weeding out sites that actually have good content and still ranking spam higher.

Husayni, on the other hand, thinks that the update has done wonders for Google searchers, achieving the exact results it was intended for.

“Panda was a powerful update and it cleared the air from content farms and base sites, those that spammed searchers with lots and lots of content or duplicated text,” Husayni explained.

Despite Hiner’s opinions, Husayni thinks that Google is stronger than ever, with SEO being a valid contributor to their success.

“There is always going to be manipulation,” Husayni said. “Some people are going to use frowned-upon techniques to boost their site’s ranking, but that is black hat SEO. I hope that Master Google’s honest SEO services will raise the standards of the industry.”

SEO Expert Reports: How To Use Social Media Marketing for Successful SEO

SANTA MONICA, CA – As a writer and administrative assistant to the CEO of an SEO company that provides its customers with the tools for landing a top spot on the first page of Google, I have had the chance to meet many experts in the fields of search engine optimization and social media marketing. By working with them, I have learned that to master google, you must understand the many different factors required for effective Google SEO. Blog optimization is one important factor, but so is making sure that the online audience engages in the conversation, hence our constant examining of social media importance. After all, I have found myself repeatedly seeking new answers to these two recurring questions: how effective is social media marketing (SMM) for the bottom line and why does it matter for SEO?

Seeking some fresh insight, I decided to talk to an expert with a writing and marketing background similar to mine, Aaron Smyk, who is the Director of Web Marketing for Transparent Corporation. Before I delve into the details of what Transparent Corp. has done with SMM, I must first join with Smyk in issuing a disclaimer regarding my ‘new’ findings. Setting out to prove the effectiveness of social media marketing is nothing ‘new’, and has actually been the topic of countless debates over the years. One of the earliest and most public discussions took place at the Search Marketing Expo in Seattle, where moderator Danny Sullivan introduced the importance of SMM to SEO efforts.

“Search engine optimizers really need to understand social media. Social media traffic is great for a site. A lot of people are going to social media sites and are doing a basic behavior of discovery,” Sullivan said.

Rand Fishkin of SEOMoz.org pointed to YouTube as an example of the power of Social Media Marketing.

“What can viral media marketing do for you? Do you remember when there was no YouTube? In December of 2005, YouTube became more popular in a month. What did that? Lazy Sunday from Saturday Night Live was put there, and now YouTube dominates the market. Viral media gives you the ability to brand. Viral media causes search rankings through links. Viral media means that you are growing your fan base. RSS subscribers go up,”  Fishkin said.

New Money Making Opportunities With Social Media Marketing Platforms

Over the years, the effectiveness of SMM has lead to a plethora of online opportunities that just didn’t exist before, and they range from gaining clients and readers to finding a job. Sites that were once used primarily for link bait are now bringing job opportunities to the attention of qualified applicants.

Reddit is how Smyk became the Director of Web Marketing for Transparent Corporation, a developer of software aimed toward neural stimulation, mental training and biofeedback. Serving over 100 countries, Transparent’s products are used by therapists, businesses, M.D.’s, teachers, academic researchers and the masses. Smyk was immediately interested in the position and was happy to talk about the value of sites like Reddit.

“There is a sort of common culture that unites people on that site, and I think having that common base of interests carried over really nicely into this role,” Smyk said.

The Overlap Between SEO and SMM: Getting Results By Combining Them

Smyk has witnessed the overlap between SEO and SSM and said that while it has been hard for him to tell which set of techniques is more effective on their own, good content will always provide better SEO results.

“It’s a hazy area… is a site ranking well because they have lots of ‘likes’ on Facebook? Or is it ranking well because that content is good, has been linked to extensively, and as a result, has also picked up a bunch of positive social stats?” Smyk asked rhetorically, adding his opinion. “If something does well on a social platform, that shows you that you’ve created something that is actually meeting a need and getting attention, and also increases the exposure to that content.”

Jumping on the social media bandwagon is a topic that Master Google has been addressing from the beginning, and this fact remains the same: you need to have a Facebook account and a fan page for your business, says Master Google CEO Ali Husayni.

“You need to encourage your friends to ‘like’ the page, and you must post useful information, videos and photos to it on a regular basis,” Husayni said.

Of course, Google+ has come into the picture and provided another social media marketing platform.

Google+ Brings New Opportunities

In a recent blog post about Google+, we talked about how the benefits of Google plus are many, and if you don’t have a Google+ account, you are strongly advised to get one.

“It’s a real step in the right direction. They needed to have it from the get-go,” Husayni said.

Smyk sees the value in Google+ for business, but notes that Google+ has its limits.

“Google+ is a completely different story… a single +1 can have a huge impact on how that page is presented in Google SERPs, but that is only if you’re signed into Google,” Smyk said. “Safe to say, if your audience appears to be using Google Plus, you need to have a strategy for it by now.”

Smyk also made an important note about the role of SMM in his line of work, stating that everyone in the SEO industry should be keeping an eye on social media marketing, as best practices in the area are constantly evolving. Husayni agrees that SMM is evolving just as SEO is.

“As SEO continually evolves, so does the need for a dedicated team ready to meet the demands of an ever-changing market. After all, getting to the top of Google takes determination, hard work and a little bit of patience,” Husayni said. “You may not have the budget for a full-scale SEO campaign if you’re just starting out, but having an SEO consultant to get you started may very well be within your budget and well worth the expense.”
